I suppose thats why all the best players want to play there. But hang on isn't half their team from their junior ranks, not to mention their juniors that are playing for the Jets Youth?

I hear Jaffs are top payers, especially as they dont have to contribute anything to their ground upkeep.

Edden Oval never belonged to New Lambton. They played there yes, but it has never belonged to anyone but the NCC.

Also showing no inkling for promotion is wrong. They won it and got denied by criteria in 2002 and got pipped by goal difference in 2003. Also ran second in 2007. Not really a club who showed no inkling for promotion.

You bag every club in Newcastle bar South Cardiff and 99.9% of what you write is incorrect.

i think that german fella has been a real disappointment, does anyone agree/disagree? From what ive seen of him he has been very quiet, considering he was meant to be their player to watch this season.

I remember hearing that a certain individual from another club in the NBN League accused magic of short changing the charity shield one year. Northern directed him to apologize to magic for making the accusations, on Facebook I recall, and threatened this person with bringing the game into disrepute. This person has been known to also make claims on what monies magic makes from hosting the GF each year. Point being this person has a track record for being dishonest and untrustworthy.

nah i meant the other german (florian/flo???). saw him as a disappointing left back (i think) against olympic and then a disappointing forward against jaffas. not having a go at lakes, just wondering if someone who has been to more games had a different opinion or agreed.

thb i dont know what all the complaining is about. Magic have the best complex/ground in the league. The only other options i see are: 1) Use Adamtown's ground, in which case all funds go to a team not in the NBN league or 2) hire either No1 or No2 sports ground in newcastle, northern NSW run the day i.e.sell beer, food ect.... and divide the profit among the NBN clubs.


P.S i really believe no other club would run GF day as good as magic
