No need to plan upgrades when its guaranteed, just need to divert that 'facility upgrade money to a squad now that will play for a 'Home' Grand Final like times of old.
You are aware that the league is a semi-amateur league at best? Honestly i feel there are a number of grounds that could hold and have a decent grand final day. As long as there is a semi functional canteen that sells beers and some food. There is adequate seating and terraces what is the issue?
Anyway one would think magic would be happy to have a year off from the grand final they are quite sure they make no money from it (Although no one believes it). So it seems like a vacation lol.

First grade was terrible to watch. Really felt for the players positioned near the cricket pitch, the sound of the players running on it could be heard in the stand.
What game were you watching? Must have heard deans/Zane yell at their players a dozen times in the first half to stop knocking long balls. Olympic were definitely more than well worth the points and could have won by 5. Scored 3 ,hit the bar, missed a couple of one v ones and played some good football. Jets fair dinkum did not have a shot on goal all game.
