Said it before - will say it again: There isnt enough hair product in the Greater Hunter area to cater for a Ned Zelic management run.

Okon a much cheaper option. And he has actually managed. Although come to think of it, I would advise Jets management to get Milicic in. How he wasnt given the Heart job is beyond me.

Agree, said months ago that Milicic would be a great choice. Been involved twice in the last 4 seasons now with setting a club up from scratch as an assistant coach. Also, people seem to forget that he was at the club in the very first season of the HAL so there is a link there between him and this club and the town.

Would love to see Zelic over emphasise everything like he does on SBS at 6 Managers press engagements a week. Would provide some great material for a giggle

That's right, but Zelic isn't interested in coaching. Okon would be a great coach too for us.

Could you imagine Rob Sitch taking him off as a result on SS&E?

    Champagne comedy!

    Is he out yet?

If Griff hadn't returned, I would be continuing my 2 year non-singing protest. At least now I suppose I can still sing about how much of c*nt GVE is.

Not wanting to see the Griff fail or anything but his signing does seem like the last act of a desperate man.

( IE GVE's Future is up shit creek so he goes to the Griff to turn it around to get him a new deal at Jets HQ and save his arse. We as fans are in a no win situation here. Griff doesn't turn in we are all disappointed and if he does turn it on in Griffo style we keep GVE)

I saw it this way too - as a sort of "hail Mary" play.

    Not that I'm complaining.

Pffffft, you blokes making out that WE chose Griff.
Griff chose US and praise be that He did.
GVE should get the ass regardless and he knows that he'll get another gig. Pretty much one of the coaches has to die before anyone is allowed into the group discussion on available coaches.

It's a little known fact that all the current A-League coaches are the same managers who started game one, season one of the A-League, just that some are now at different clubs (like Ernie Merrick).
