Played matchplay in golf one day (play off 12) and I was 2 up after seven holes proceeded to have a spell of 8 holes with 7 pars and a bogey (OFF THE STICK).
By anyones calculations I have done more than enough to blitz my opponent and grind him into the ground for a convincing win in 99.999999999999999999999999999999999% of occassions
Problem was he shot the lights out and was 2 under and I was giving him shots whilst I was having a purple patch myself and I was gone 4 and 3.
