For any of you blokes going AVIANCA and AZUL are proving to be quite useful for Flights within Brazil.
Both have reasonable fares where as Gol and TAM are charging their share and then some.
Picked myself up Rio to Sao Paulo Return for a day trip for a 2nd Rd game for $130 on Avianca. Just got to get a ticket NOW
Also got a flight Rio to Sao Paulo the day after the Rio Quarter Final to meet up with my flight out of Brazil that day for $60.
Other options were prohibitive.
Happy as shit as it will give me an extra couple of days in/around Rio de Janiero if I can actually find some decent reasonably priced accommodation. Some of the places on the Net look worse than dog kennels for $200-$300 a night.
Just can't bring myself to stay in one of those Love Hotels though!!!

Just checked on internet banking. Seem to be missing about $800 from one account. My bank is pretty tardy with the summary as it usually says the balance has been reduced to ...... and then at a later date this transaction will appear.
Don't recall anything being spent so ether victim of Fraud or FIFA are giving me some tickets

If its Visa, you should be able to call the bank up and if the charge is pending they'll be able to tell you what it is for. Assuming mastercard has a similar thing.

Assume this is for PMA as it would make sense to do the PMA first and then if there are any left over to put the tickets into the Random Draw worldwide for the general 2nd rd ballot.

What else did you apply for? I was under the impression PMA doesn't start yet. The other ballot for single tickets has definitely started, so unless you applied for Australian tickets through that it is most likely something else

I thought they cancelled one if you applied through FIFA and PMA, obviously not.
I only did 3 ppl x Australian PMA (Cat 1 or lower, all 3 games) and 3 ppl x Cat 3 France v Honduras, which was $270 US which converted to about $305 AUD (assuming thats what the charge is). Conversion rate of about 0.885
That might help you narrow down what you've been successful in! Good luck!
I have absolutely no idea what I have been successful in when you factor in I have applied for Cat 1 and are willing to accept Cat 2-3 I could have any combo.
I know speculation of FIFA is stupid as they dance to the beat of their own drum but I would have thought the most logical thing would be to do the PMA's first that way any tix not applied to by the NT fans could then be allocated back to the 2nd Rd draw to give the worldwide fans a better chance of securing them and stop the need for as many ballots. This would also be of use as it would limit the amount of tickets going into the first come first served thing coming up and actually see more tickets end up in the hands of people who really want them.
But FIFA and logic don't go together do they???

What concerns me though is that US $525 doesn't equal anywhere near $654 so it may be the FIFA BALLOT
By the time the bank adds their fee for changing a currency over you will probably lose close to 8% on top of the 10% difference in the currency rate which would make $US525 look very close to $AUD654.
