2014 State Cup

Hi all,



As you’re aware there were a large number of postponed State Cup fixtures over the weekend due to the recent wet weather. NNSWF understands this is a busy time of year for all clubs as pre-season activities have been scheduled around our State Cup dates. As a result, NNSWF has determined that the washed out fixtures from Round 1 of the State Cup will now take place on Saturday 15th/Sunday 16th March (the weekend that was originally scheduled for Round 2 fixtures). This will affect the remaining rounds of the competition so please take note of the new dates below:



Round 1 – Saturday 1st/Sunday 2nd March and Saturday 15th/Sunday 16th March

Round 2 – Saturday 22nd/Sunday 23rd March

Round 3 – Wednesday 16th April

Round 4 – Wednesday 7th May

Round 5 – Wednesday 28th May



Apart from the additional date of Wednesday 16th April, the above dates were already locked in for State Cup fixtures so effectively the main changes are the round numbers.



Could each club that was meant to host Round 1 washouts please confirm ground availability for either Saturday 15th or Sunday 16th March as soon as possible.



Once all venues and kick off times have been confirmed I will distribute a revised copy of the draw.

I think NPL and new fm are still playing second round next weekend

I don't understand how the second round can take place weekend 21st and 22 nd march as this is when newfm starts ?

What about valentines first game in comp and Maitland for that point if the beat south Cardiff

Second round is the 15/16

Clubs would have been pissed to lose a trial that had been set up for weeks.

I went and watched Maitland V Hamilton at the weekend.

If Maitland play like they did 1st half then Southy will win

If Maitland play like they did 2nd Half Maitland will win.
