Our problems lie with the poor decisions of our administration and the people they are selecting as coaches who are also poor at what they do. Not our player signings.
Seriously how can anyone justify the appointment of GVE to the Emerging Jets position when he has cluster****ed everything he has touched in recent years. Yet our CEO was an outspoken advocate of giving the bloke the job. This bloke is one of the main reasons why we have such a shit kulcha at our club yet now we are inflicting it on the kids of the Hunter for years to come
because I'm not one of those blokes on here that single out Middleby for constant criticism.
I give him a fair and balanced look but if something stands out as being wrong (in my opinion) I like to think any critique is eloquent and backed by facts.
GVE thinks a 20 year old playing once a week and training 2 hours a day for 4 days needs rest because they will burn out. Him being head of emerging jets will mean the poor bastards only get to have a one hour run every fortnight!
