Wow I feel old. Just had to Google what FTFY meant.

I believe the medal Charlie received says Grand Final Winners. That's what they are. Muswellbrook won the comp. the title. They are the champions. The premiers. However you say it, that's what happened.

I would say winning the comp is winning the grand final. You get there by beating everyone in the finals and then winning the last game.
Scored another bomb? Better than the one against merewether 1st round?

Topsecret- In the past we have found ID1's difficult based solely on numbers. Lots of shift workers and what not. Round one had us field a first grade side of which 5 players had been in the ressies lineup. That's just two teams, I can't even imagine trying to field a third!!!!

As for the pitch, the committee is working with the council to lower the cut, but they are running this "predetermined length for growth and survival" BS so we will just have to wait and see. Either that or the team traveling up can slip me a dozen lemon Ruski's and I'll do the bastard myself with a push mower on a Saturday arvo.........

Aidos- it was a free kick so a bit different. I'd probably say it was better than the Merewether one. Either way I'm calling them both a bit of a fluke and I've probably used up the rest of my life's goals in the first two rounds. I'm worried I may have peaked too early........

Plenty of niggle including a send off for Olympic striker for sheer stupidity, trying to block the keepers kick out of his hand when already on a yellow card. Too many yellow cards to count in first grade, and another total dog act when Olympic player kicked Stockton bloke on the ground, apart from that really good end to end game.
    Jaliens gives me the horn

Issues were sorted after the game. No bad spirit from either team after leaving the venue

Well the so called dog player accidentally stood on him and wasn't meant for. But use obviously seen it differently... Also ur goal keeper needs to watch his mouth calling out racist remarks.. Other then that yes it was niggly and few dirty challenges but over all good hard game from both teams!!!

i thought it was a good game, both teams getting stuck in on a wet and windy night over the bridge. Stoko looked good, played it around well and will be up there challenging for 1st place I would think. Very disappointing about the racist remarks if its true, but then again, Ive coped that shit for years and am not surprised. All the best and its great we got a weekend off.

I have a novel-length personal view on why this is, and while I don't condone that kind of reaction by people at all I can only imagine posting my views would cause more trouble than it is worth so I'll let it run through to the keeper.
    OK

thanks for letting us know. Your obviously implying something with your response so you should just let it rip mate instead of "letting it run through to the keeper" Your not in this comp anymore yet come and pick on that. my previous comment was not meant as a complaint or anything ( even though it sounds like that) just expressing my disappointment IF it was true. Anyway all good and there's no drama whatsoever. thanks pv4 unlucky about the weekend and hope you blokes drop down so we can continue our rivalry cheers

I was in the middle of it. But I believe that it's best that what was said and done on the field stays there. Move along
