Also 10 games, 3 goals at various international levels.

I assume Montano has played some sort of youth or reserves football... that's what Taggart was doing before he joined us.

So thats 19 goals in 54 appearances for Taggart and 9 in 47 for Montano. Not too dissimilar

Hope I'm wrong. I want to be wrong. I just hope he applies himself, trains hard and realised the hard work isn't over. He hadn't made it yet and it's simply the next step.
Nathan Burns claims that the reason he struggled overseas was that he actually went too late. The same could be said of the others you have mentioned.

    It's tough to call though.

16 goals in 25 this season. Compared to 8 goals in 27 LAST season, none in 5 since his return to Barcelona this season.

Agreed... but my point remains, Taggart has a far more impressive recent history

The 2 years Montano spent in Europe for Gent, presumably playing reserve team football, didn't do his career an awful world of good. Something Tags may well encounter at Fulham.

Rumour over at 442 is that the Spanish player was Javier Baraja.

    http://int.soccerway.com/players/jav...a-vegas/17923/

Could fit, played 5 seasons of La Liga, 4 seasons segunda with Real Valladolid since 2005.

Was released by Valladolid 27th May 2014, so he'd be a free agent.

I'm inclined to think that Barresi would be a contracted NYL player and we could still sign 3 more.

I think Taggz can come off the list.

Also there are a large number if players off contract next year. We could be in line for a massive squad change to bring in Phil's players.

So potentially room for 4 signings.

So stubbsy on the news saying we after another striker, a winger and a midfielder. Must mean Goodwin and/or carney gonna be used at lb imo. Bit surprised about the winger part but I hope it's quality rather than another squaddie

    Right side- griff? Hoole, virgili
    Left side- carney, Goodwin

    Am I missing anyone?
If not then I spose another winger would be necessary

I thought Griff may have been played centrally or off the bench.

However, the way Stubbins is talking, we aren't looking at a LB, so Carney or Goodwin at left back makes more sense. Unless of course Stubbins is going to retain Gallaway there.

I think we have enough "back up" players so I hope the players we are looking at are first team quality. The Nick Ward trialling doesn't fill me with great confidence.
