Correct Melbourne City never said Villa was on a guest contract just said he would be here until December. It was the media that said it's a guess contract, Villa could very much be on loan as well.

To be fair, I am 99% sure there was a foxsports article on the permutations for MCFC fitting Villa into the squad, although I can't find it now. We probably read the same article haha.

It's a loan deal not confirmed as Guest. Below is the MCFC press release and Scott Munn stated on SEN at the time that they would decide later how the contract would be registered.
