When they can start getting real sponsors and real money, they'll find new players.

Have heard a few rumours, one is that it's lakes that are in trouble and have been told they need to merge with warnersbay to stay alive, second is that it is morriset for newfw I know for a fact that they have submitted an application for it, and third is that morriset getting there players from Toronto and also players that live in the area and travel to other clubs now as well, they have given there coach money to spend and his been out poaching players already

It could only be a geographically based decision if Morriset were promoted. Many other clubs deserve it more.

Yep, I agree. Cooks Hill definitely deserve it most and id probably say Wallsend next. I know wallsend have only just come into ZPL but they have the facilities and the ambition from what I hear.

100% agree. NEWFM will remain a joke if they promote teams with minimal stability. I'm not sure of the junior base out in that area, but their constant struggles to get players would suggest it's not massive.

For me, the team from ZPL that would be most suitable for promotion would be Cooks Hill. Their ground is being improved and they have a massive junior base and strong performances since promotion to ZPL. Obviously New Lambton, with their massive junior base and consistently strong performances (except for last season) over the last 10 years would have been a good shout before they were moved to Alder Park.

I've heard Northern are keen to have the 2nd largest Lake Macquarie Club in New FM, said Club are located very close to a club already in New FM that have no association with a junior club.

There would only be minimal players from Toronto leaving I suspect, the surname of one might give it away.

Morriset is pretty close to the Coast, maybe some Valentine players who are sick of travelling all the way to Belmont could head over there too.

Could be a dumb question, but why would they have 2 teams so close to each other? Swansea and Belswans seems stupid to me,

I not sure how much truth there is to it but from what I understand is that if it did happen Bel-Swans may be demoted as they are not affiliated with a junior club.
Please note that is just a rumour I've heard not sure how much truth there is to it.

That would be interesting....I personally don't see that this would improve the NEWFM competition given Swansea's lack of depth for a number of years at ZPL level. Especially at a junior level, as Swansea have been quite vocal in having the u/23's restrictions removed in this competition due to them not being able to find players to fill that grade.

Im not having a crack at Swansea, I just don't see how it would improve the NEWFM competition especially at the expense of Bel Swans (if that's true).
