**** me when are these jokers going to learn that birraz is useless inside his 6 yard box. Last week, derby day and now this week in a losing cause. Time he had a spell on the pine if you ask me

Holy crap it's hard listening to the kiwi commentators....the Phoenix are not that good, aren't playing that well, we are just terrible. Honestly do they practice defensive setups under a big top. Three or four times burns has just been passed the ball with no defence in front of him. Kew needs to sort out the line sharpish if we aren't to concede this many every week.

Didn't someone call Birra a vampire cause he hates crosses.

    Nicknames are adding up
    Roundabout
    Virgin (still not scored)
    The Vampire
    The Imposter (Galloway)

Why can't we keep the game simple? Four at the back to defend and two up front to score goals.....

He may be, but he didn't cost us the game today. I rate BK and Birraz equally, both have their own strength and weaknesses.

Stubbins has a lot to answer for, not sure what he is doing formation wise as it looks like a random splattering of players on the park, but its clearly not working. I wonder if we are watching GVE MkII and he is going to stick to his system irrespective of results?

Our wide defence is so quick to push forward in attack its leaving us exposed at the back. No one seems to be busting a gut to get back when they are caught out. The 4-5-1 is just a 4-3-3 dressed up and we are being over run in the mids. It could be equally formation as it is players not understanding or doing their job, but lets see a coach adapt for once.

I don't care if Johnny Steele bit a team mates dick off in the showers he should never have been left out of the squad.

I was worried when he was left out. Happy to see caravella come in, but it should have been done without dropping Steele.

I thought Caravella did well considering he was playing his own position and covering about 90% of Flores' workload as well.

The reason he looked terrible is that Flores wasn't getting involved or providing any options.

I agree, I don't think Caravella was terrible. Same as last season, he was trying too hard to cover other people. A lot of players need to look a lot harder at themselves that Caravella needs to.

Anyone else noted that we have played the three weakest teams in our first 3 matches for 6 against, 2 for and 1 point. God help us when we meet the Smurfs or Victory. It will be ugly.
