Yeah but if you’re gonna resign Boogaard (and I can certainly see the case for it) then who do we let go?

Because he ain’t taking a pay cut (nor should he) and others gonna want that ‘success money’ so it’s gotta come from somewhere.

I’m only saying Boogaard because cutting him would be the easiest to replace and we can spend that money on keeping maybe ‘everyone’ else.

It seems like the smartest business decision.

Apparently J league window now open closes in April. They are looking to trigger his release cause of $500k. Sucks but this is basically the business plan of the club and why they had those release causes in place.

Would be a massive loss for us. He was a great central striker backup as well. Disappointing after he recently signed a 2yr extension.
