I love that we get to watch Goodwin play in Australia, but how has he not been picked up by an overseas team?

How I wish that the Jets had kept him
Any particular reason sydney and Melbourne are playing on a goat track?
That McGarry plays alright...

And the bloke who came in was so much better eh ?. particularly in the match against the scum. Pretty sure Aqualina is still standing on the byline at the southern end with his head spinning to this day wondering what just happened.
McGarry is twice the player Aqualina is and ever will be. You have seen enough of both of them to know that.

Aquilina only played near the end of the season.
McGarry was benched, and then let go, to play Ingham or Hoffman.
Since there is no technical explanation for that, it would be interesting to see what really happened.
Not sure in which dimension Ingham is a better player, but each to their own.
Natta only played a couple of games as LB, so he couldn't have been the reason McGarry was let go.
BTW McGarry did great in Wellington, now he's thriving in a team that has a good chance to make it to the GF... but somehow he wasn't good enough for the Jets.
From memory, Nix fans weren't too sad he was leaving.
He had zero goals in his 5 seasons in Wellington and only managed 40 appearances during all those years, he scored one for us. He's just in a purple patch right now. He's two years older than Ingham and has 1 less league goal than him and way less appearances.
He has 1 NZ cap compared to 13 for Ingham. Even if they are on the opposite side, that's still a large gap, especially given the two year age gap.
Nothing in his past showed that he had this current run of form in him, good on him but until he keeps this up next season I'm not fussed about him going.
