By the way Gerrard absolutely telegraphed that penalty, keeper picked it (easily) but it just shows if you hit that inside netting, ain't no one stopping it.

Rodgers is doing a fine job, might even get top 4

Some of the newcastle based LFC supporters are trying to get some people together and get the Northern branch of the supporters club going.
As such there is a meet up planned to watch the game against ManU at Wests
If you are keen to go along and meet some of your fellow Newy Reds, check out the FB event https://www.facebook.com/events/780593325284093

Bring on the mancs. I think a big win is on the cards. Moyes will be shitting bricks and will try to defend for a draw...good luck against the SASAS.

Hate Facebook so if someone can keep me posted on here about the supporters group I'm interested. Cheers.

    Working down in Sydney.

I seriously hope we put in a good performance tonight. A win, would do us a world of good, since Chelsea dropped points. However, i feel as though whenever we play last (know results) we don't play well. Prove me wrong.

Loving Gerrard in the deeper role. His passing is just as useful and means he doesn't have to run as much. Leaving Henderson and coutinho to do the pressing. Speaking of Coutinho, I think we should start Allen. He adds a calming element and COutinho hasn't been up to scratch (his usual standards) lately.

one of them was. sturridge went around vidic who when to ground (again). no contact, sturridge dived and vidic sent (again).

should have had a peno 5 min after when carrick brought down sturridge

rafael should also have been sent at the first peno. ref bottled it badly, there.

could and should have been a massacre. man utd were let off very lightly
    we will loose

Didn't like Sterling in the middle there. His passing was awful and that Belgium Jedinak kept pushing him off the ball.
    He did get about though.
Rodgers post game on the Sturridge dive:
"He jumped to avoid the tackle, there was no contact made, but it wasn't a dive"
Ummmmm ok. It was Wenger-esque in its silliness.
Rooney is the only one on that team who had a go. Geez he's quality.
    Liverpool thoroughly deserved it though.

Suarez kept his feet when he could've gone down for a pen early on.
Rafael lucky to last the 90.
Flanagan lucky to last the 90.
First 2 pens were fair enough.
Sturridge may cop a bit for the 3rd. Vidic did go in badly though. Don't
Think it was a pen. But evened out when he didn't get one a little bit on.

Gerrard is immense. So calm under pressure.
    Suarez is a gem.
I'm glad Allen played. He makes a more Meaningful contribution when we play against top teams. Coutinho is better suited to running riot vs lesser teams until he develops.
Defensively we played well and shows what happens when we don't make shitty errors and gift Goals. How many times have we been outplayed and conceded this year? I'd say at least 50% would be directly from errors.
