Pretty sure he tweeted yesterday that Friday was his last game for Newcastle and that it was up to the clubs now.

Obviously the bargaining skills in admin haven't worked! There probably lies the reasons why we are looking at Ryan "I come and go as I please if the money is right" Griffiths and missed out on signing any big names, mind you the coach may have something to do with that as well. It's a bit ridiculous that Burns himself now has to fly back to Korea to sort out his future. If the club really wanted him to stay then why didn't they send their representatives and Burns reps to Korea much sooner than this. Is Burns worth all the fuss, not in my books. As for Griffiths, the Jets have to want players that really want to play for the club, wear their shirt and demand loyalty. You can't have players just up and go when a bigger carrot is put in front of them, especially at important stages of the season and then come back with their tail between their legs.The guy also has indicated that he wants to return to Asia so why are the club talking to this guy. Palmer and Middleby continue to bring this club down and make it a laughing stock, get rid of them, get rid of the coach, get rid of Deans, hell, get rid of the one behind the bar pouring me a crap beer in the western stand, while you're at it!
