The way I'm gonna think about this is alivodic doesn't have the greatest cv before joining us and I rate him so I'll remain optimistic
Background of a player for example:
1997–1998 Cortuluá 45 (22)
1999 Independiente Santa Fe 36 (14)
2000 Cortuluá 21 (10)
2000–2001 Deportivo Cali 21 (3)
2001–2002 Cortuluá 38 (9)
2002 Deportivo Pereira 19 (13)
2003 Independiente Santa Fe 16 (6)
2003 Deportivo Cali 12 (1)
2004 Deportivo Pereira 17 (12)
2004–2005 Deportivo Cali 42 (27)
2005–2006 Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors 22 (9)
He went on to score 7 goals in 21 games for us. While this bloke
1999–2004 FC Utrecht 28 (5)
2002 → FC Volendam (loan) 15 (9)
2002–2003 → Emmen (loan) 31 (30)
2004–2005 RBC Roosendaal 23 (7)
2005–2006 De Graafschap 25 (13)
2006–2007 AEK Larnaca 23 (9)
2007–2009 De Graafschap 36 (8)
Did nothing.
The player's ability to adapt, fit in with the league, build for the league and mentality in how they settle can be a big determination. As well as the quality of the players around them.

More than fair point.
I don't think we'll have one or two star players this season. I think if this squad makes the finals it will be because of a very structured and resolute defence and in the attacking third it will require a collective effort with regards to goals and assists rather than having a dominant 9 and 10 let's say.
Like miller said in his interview with Lucy Zelic about leading 1-0 and closing out games, I predict we'll be trying to settle for quite a few 1-0 wins and I'll be having a heart attack every 2-3 weeks.
In short, I doubt we will dominate many games
His goal scoring ability in China is similar to that of Griffo. I think he will do quite well here.
I wonder if the jets will do the silhouette picture thingy before the big reveal again. Waste of time I suppose since most are aware who it is
Interesting that NBN ran a small segment on it last night before "the miller interview" but nothing in Herald this morning. I thought they sourced news from this site(actually wonder if they cut an agreement not to do something today for a particular reason?)
Hmm must have been held up in release because I checked their website before posting here and nothing. Date stamp I am guess is when he wrote it, but yeah I reckon they keep an eye out here.
Looks like we'll be lining up with a 4-2-3-1 formation then
Birraz
Hoffman Boogard Mullen Lee
Poljak Kanta
Carney Leonardo Enver
Milos
Subs: BK, Cowburn, Watson, Lundy, Haliti

I would prefer to see Hoffman on the right and Leaky G on the left... unless you have Milos in goals and Birraz up front?
Is Cowburn still hanging around? He was good enough season that I am surprised that some clubs with rubbish RB's haven't come offering a full time contract. Maybe coasties did and he spat in their face?
Saw Miller at my work yesterday afternoon and he said he was heading to Sydney until today.. Picking up our signing??
Not sure if that is the case. I think you would find they were trying to groom him for RB or CB from what I have watched and heard even played LB in the intra trial game in Armidale. Have watched for several years and he has been played all over the place with no constant position which makes it a bit hard to develop, very poor coaching decisions for this kid. Has always had a much better passing range, stronger, and more of a football brain then Pawiak, maybe he has just realised the Jets have F****d up his development and moved on to get a fair opportunity else where. Good luck to the kid and hope all goes well.
