That opponent blast night was pathetic
7-0 was a bad result.
Reality is we should have won by much more.

That's a par score against a side that offered as much as they did
Whilst I don't necessarily disagree try to remember that they had 11 men behind the ball for most art of that game. It can get crowded and become very difficult and frustrating to break down a team like that.
Last night we showed good patients and discipline. How often have we seen the same thing happened against a Jordan or Qatar to only be scored against on the counter and we find ourselves chasing the game.
Put into perspective last night was a good experiment along with a important result.
Fair enough to MFKS, he can have his opinion just like everyone.
Despite the opponent the multiple assists, important team play AND theoretically scoring a goal (Rogic's didn't actually cross the line before Giannou finished it), I feel pretty confident that Ange wouldn't agree with MFKS' assessment and that we will be seeing Giannou play plenty in the future.
If Barcelona only beat the Cooks Hill U12s by 16-0 by my counts they have still played like busted arseholes

I tend to agree with the Member in that the blokes finishing was pretty poor.
Overall thought his team play was good, but you can't ignore the fact he missed that sitter and had some pretty poor shots in good positions.
What I don't agree with him on is the fact he said nice things about a gypo.

When it comes to a qualifying game I personally don't care whether we're tested or not, I just want to see the 3 points.
If Barcelona were playing Cooks Hill U12s in a champions league semi final would they be happy to get a 16-0 win and into the final or upset that they weren't tested enough?

After the gypo goes a few games the full 90 and gives us the level Mooy has shown I'll be able to compare the 2. Last night gypo got to sit in the 18 yard box and ping away. They were good finishes mind, but it's a 90 game yeah?
Maybe put the gypo at striker and keep Mooy.

Syria also have 12, UAE and North Korea have 10 and Iraq have 9
if Jordan beat us, and the four teams listed above all win, three will have more than 12 points, Iraq will be on 12
our goal difference without Bangladesh is only +12, Iraq are on +6
in simple terms, if we lose 0-3 on Tuesday and Iraq beat Viet Nam 4-0 (as well as UAE, North Korea winning, with Syria not losing) then we are out of the World Cup
go put $10 on a multi-bet of all that happening - then if we're eliminated you'll have all that money to wipe away the anger
