However after his and Mateos little bitch fest over who would take the penalty I was over his shit. Nail in the coffin was watching him sprint down the tunnel after the full-time whistle.

All of today's antics along with his instagram post he can **** right off.

I reckon he walked at least 60% of the game too. Lazy f*cker.

Thought I heard on the commentary that he was expecting birth anytime of his kid? If that's right than maybe he is only dropped till his Mrs spits the kid out.

I hope he is dropped due to form, thought we looked better without him.

Yes Gardiner from The Herald confirmed on Twitter that Enver's wife is heavily pregnant so that was the reason he was not in the squad.

Wouldn't mind seeing Brennan start out wide next week and bring in Cooper to play #10 behind Nobby

Thought Cooper and Brennan were very disappointing in their time on the field. In need of match practice sure but still need to put in a shift when you are out there. Brennan plodded around for 20mins, barely held the ball when he had it. 1 pass to Kitto his only saving grace.

we actually need some of those Punch and Judy puppets on the sideline to scream out "LOOK - HE'S BEHIND YOU!" to Poljak when the opposition are sneaking up on him, they seem to be able to effortlessly steal the ball like taking candy from a baby off him every time...
Life isn't the same without Con... but it can only improve without Tinks...

Are you serious? Unless I was looking at a different Brennan, the guy was like the ****ing energizer bunny, didn't stop making runs, constantly sprinting for the ball, and I thought he looked reasonably comfortable when he got the ball considering it was his first top-grade game. First touch from memory was getting to the byline and winning a corner. Then he linked up well with Hoff for the rest of the game.

Agree with that, I definitely want to see more of Brennan - considering this was his first time setting foot on an A-League pitch I though he did fantastic.

Miller didnt seem impressed with Brennan with his comments in the post match presser and he's the only who decides wether brennan plays

Agree mate, certainly didn't look out of place in his first run at this level. He certainly had no trouble mixing it on the physicality side of things as he is a decent sized unit. Probably should have had a few appearances under his belt by now but we obviously have a coach who has none or hardly any faith in his younger "fringe" players. Wouldn't be surprised if Brennan is an unused sub for next week!

Watch the reply, he plodded around the park. Some serious rose coloured glasses on if you think he was energizer bunny.

Doubt even Brennan would tell you that's his natural game. He is a big guy, seems to want to get the ball from deep and run with it, but barely seemed to press. He ran the ball into pockets away from any support on few occasions he had it too.

You won't remember any specific highlights other than his pass to Kitto because there wasn't any.

[edit] and his first touch should have been an easy cross as he had 2 yards on the defender but was too slow and got closed down.

As I said in my previous post, lacking match practice which explains the rustiness but not the effort for mine

    In a nutshell!

The players stopped passing to him after a few minutes. He looked bereft of any confidence, but mind you he didn't look any better than what pavicevic offers.

Good summation. Felt he was trying too hard at times, which you could expect from a young player on debut.

He looks more a striker to me. Play home central with that frame and speed....phwoar

Personally, id give Brennan 2 90 minute shifts to end the season to show what he's got, what can it hurt? The finals are now gone, give blokes a chance! If anyones seen his highlights reel on youtube, you can see he has some serious speed and skill, can finish and assist, and makes it look so easy too....

Ill admit, this he's stepped up in class and has to get up to speed. But the bloke has waited 25 games to make his a-league debut, and gets a 25 minute cameo off the bench to prove his worth!

I dont think he played bad, looked a bit lost once or twice, but did more running in 25 minutes than Leonardo has done in the past 3 games! I dont think he should be written off after 25 minutes of a-league football. You've only got to look back at Topor-Stanleys jets debut in the ACL, if ur going to rub Brennan out for saturdays effort then NTS should never have played a game again!

Given a decent chance, i reckon Brennan will be a real asset to the Jets and the a-league! Just my two bobs worth!

I don't disagree with those calling for Brennan to get a decent run; but don't lose sight of the fact that Miller and company see him and the rest of the squad train.

They are (or at least should be) far more able to make an informed decision on his ability to crack it at this level.

JP especially has never been afraid to give young guys a shot, so I'll trust those with far greater qualifications and a track record to do their job.

    Complete bullshit.

This week we give everyone a game and have a look

Who gives a **** if we lose to the Roar

The week after we pick our best team and try to beat the Gypos

Any blokes selected for the future in this game and Millertime can quite frankly **** off

Beating those ****s in 2 weeks time is all that matters and all that has mattered in the last few weeks of the season

If Millertime not see the importance of beating them ****wits and doesnt puck our best 11 he is not the man for our club at all
