    The bloke in the grand scheme of things is a 37 year old who played in a big league a long time ago.

    He has very little profile and the game in this country needs to move on from signing these types of players

    ADP and Heskey came from good leagues to HAL as their careers wound down and could still play at this level

    This bloke has come from a retirement home to the comp


    Reality is it is a garbage signing from a garbage club

    So with all the tributes and send off for Archie, what will happen if Victory progress to the next round? Is there another home/away leg in which Thompson could play or would he no longer be in the squad because he doesn't have a contract when the next round will be played?

    I assume that's the case but would appreciate some clarity.

    If it's the case with his contract. Surely they would just extend it for another month or however long they need to to keep him for the ACL?
