Always going to be a tough day at the best of times. Thirds and ressies were the same team. Limping through to the end of the season, just 24 fit players across all grades again today.

Pumped up the tyres on the treadly and headed up the hill for a much anticipated match. Saw 20 mins of res. Dudley 8-1 after suns full team backed up from 3-2 loss in thirds. Dudley res look a very good team but hard to judge v a team who has to play 170 mins. ! First had plenty of skill, but no fire. I wasn’t interested in foul play but expected an aggressive and competitive match up. Suns showed signs of quality, Dudley just a class above. Ref let everything go, maybe 8-10 frees in the game, was good. It was like he thought these guys will kick the shit out of each other or they won’t. Mayfield with a 7-0 win puts them back on top by 1 goal. Hope they have a serious battle next week.

Don't need to turn to much around, decent pre season would be a good start, instead of picking up players a week out from the competition proper.
Saying that, we will put this season behind us and move on, no whinging, no blaming anyone else on where we sit, we know why we are where we are and we know what has to be done to rectify it.

Anyone have any intel on Azzurri and if they’re coming up?
Have heard a few things about the facilities not being up to scratch which I can understand but have they got another ground or will they get the New Lambton style leave pass?
They have 3/4 grounds to choose from. They're coming up.
Interesting to see how other ZPL sides take to Azzurri's antics. Their third grade guys carry on a fair bit once their game has finished.
Not sure how established ZPL clubs will take to the crap they serve up??
Played them many times in pre season etc so dont have any dramas with them.
