Under A-League regulations, club's can only sign injury replacement for players on contracts worth $300,000 or more.
The Jets have one vacant place on the roster after the release of defender Aleks Susnjar and the Herald understands talks with former Adelaide midfielder Zach Clough were advanced even before Badolato's injury.
The 30-year-old English midfielder is contracted to Malaysian club Selangor, where he has made four appearances.
This is from the herald article relating to Badolato and Bracco’s injuries
If we really only have one vacant spot remaining I don’t really feel like Clough is the right player to target. Gives depth back to the position with Alex injured, but I wouldn’t have called it a priority
We need a CB or a GK
GK should be numero uno priorityo
Most goals conceded might be enough justification to reconsider our defensive chemisty?
Prior to Macarthur the rate of conceding had certainly slowed

Confirmed that both Bracco and Badolato will be out for the remainder of the season
Gutted for them both.

Does anyone have any updates on why Noah James and Thomas Aquilina aren’t even in the potential squad to travel to Melbourne
Everyone else makes sense (Badolato, Bracco and Fryer with ACL’s), Coopers red card and Baylis being dropped for Nassiep being healthy, but there’s been no update on those two, both of whom would be clear improvements over the current players in those positions
Even though I think James is better then Delianov, and would prefer him as he’s local, I wouldn’t be opposed to him being moved on if it meant we could sign an actual starting quality keeper. If that doesn’t happen, I’d rather we keep James who is cheap, local and at minimum as good as Delianov
James is injured isn’t he?
The disappearance of Tom Aquilina is disappointing. From being our captain in round 1 to no longer being named in the match day squad is a fall from grace.
Anyone have a clue what's going on? I'm expecting the outcome will be the club getting mutual with him.

I mean the fact that he was benched for a long period prior to injury was also strange. He wasn’t a perfect player but he’s much better than Bertolissio who was keeping him out of the starting side. Based on the season it’s doubtful he returns from injury to do anything but ride the bench
