I did see a NB player kicking a clump of grass/dirt off the pitch that he had just uprooted in a challenge - a sizeable chunk - and for some reason it really annoyed me. FFS - its one of the better pitches youll play on this season. Replace your divets and help us look after it/keep it that way.
    I saw that too wtf.

It does appear to be a great stadium to play in and handles weather well but not great to watch for mine. Straight into the western sun, far from action, both supporters ontop of each other. I'd rather kick back on that hill on the western side.

Some drainage work has seen to all of the previous wet weather problems. However, it is the western side that remains the most waterlogged in rain events. That couple with all of the infrastructure on the eastern side made it the plausible choice for the field.

I agree with all of those points though, hawk. The stadium would have been ideal had the dog track not been built around it. But as it stands, you tend to be a little far from the game itself. Trying to watch a night game there can be terrible as well.
Would be good to set up a temp grand stand, rope fence and a drinks stand on the other side. But that is probably a little too much effort.

I didnt see said event occur but im sure the player who did said incident meant no disrespect to the pitch...
but next time we will be sure to bring our own sand buckets to replace our divots...

    Haha - I'll be watching.

No need for sand. Instead of kicking a clump of dirt along the deck for 10m, pick it up and put it back from where it came from.

All good we can repair the ground , but it would be most appreciated on cleaning the away sheds , broom and bins supplied , 3 grades full of tape and dirt , must say last year all teams where very respectful and we should all have some some level of respect for the opposition facilities , hats off to morriset last week for suppling ice to the away team and been very accommodating , great bunch of guys

How can you say we will bring our own buckets when we clearly have one of, if not the best pitch in the competition ? I'm just glad you didn't go any further and blame the loss on that fact .

Round 12 Beresfield United v Newcastle Suns has been moved from Sat 29-6-13 to Sun 30-6-13 with delayed kick off's by one hour. Draw is being changed to reflect these changes ASAP. Reason being Bero are holding a PINK day for breast cancer support.

4-0 amish panda? thats a very bold prediction, Terrace are absolutely lethal on the counter, i would say CLINICAL in fact. They wont keep a clean sheet, but if they win, its going to be because they scored more then they conceded

**** y'all. i fixed it, what i meant was they will score more then they concede, their defence is pretty soft at the back

Ha,Ha Buddha score more then they will concede, what insight u have for the game. You should talk to GVE he could do with some of that insight into the game of football.
Anyway visa r cleared for the english imports to make there debut tomoz against the burb. Might help to fill gap left by the loss of 1 striker due to red card.
Defence not soft at back but soft all over park. 11 players on a team that all should do ther bit of defending and attacking, when the whole of the terrace team understand that they will go alot further in this league.
