I think Wilkshire is just getting old. As for who can play there.. McGowan or Williams perhaps?

christ they are quick on wikipedia.

think as long as we draw and oman win by less than 6 we are through.

obviously, we win, we're through. so let's win!

We're on 10 Oman are on 9 if we draw and they win were out.
Jordan are on 7 with a goal difference of -10 ours is +4 so if Jordan win we could lose and go threw.
Oman goal difference is -2 so Oman and Jordan draw we lose by less than 6 we go threw.
    We win we go through.

    2nd pl 7 gd +4 pt 10 Australia
    3rd pl 7 gd -2 pt 9 Oman
    4th pl 7 gd -10 pt 7 Jordan
    5th pl 6 gd -2 pt 5 Iraq

If Iraq and Japan draw Iraq are STILL out.

A draw tonight will put them on 6 points and a win V Socceroos will put them on 9 max
Austraila would finish on 10points with a loss and be ahead of them point blank Japan are long gone so the best they could hope for would be 3rd.

    With Oman playing Jordan

An Omani win sees them on 12 points
A Jordan win sees them on 10 points
A draw would see Oman on 10 Jordan on 8

This would be still more than Iraqs max 9.

Iraq need to beat the Japanese tonight or they are GONE

Which makes me think straight away, what sort of team will Iraq send for a dead rubber if that's the case?

Was working tonight and elected to watch from the 60th minute live and seeing Luca$h getting his first Intn'l goal was pricless...so was the
inane bitchin' from their defender. Wtf was he whining about? Couldn't believe he was out jumped by Neill for the ball?

A fired up Socceroos on home soil should comfortably put them to the sword

If Socceroos don't win by 3-4 Holger should quit if he ain't lynched first

On another note the Iraq game next Tuesday. Get your arses down there. Tickets on sale for $40 and include free City Rail transport to and from Newy.

Sack off work early which leaves **** all excuses not to be there when the nation plays to qualify for a World Cup place.

^ Most impressive thing about Rogic was his confidence.

That is also the key thing with Kruse I feel. You can see the potential of him in the NT, but so far I think he's played very nervous and safe. Tonight I think he started in the same way, but as he got more chances you could see his confidence grow, culminating in his nutmeg goal.

Similar situation with Oar, Oar and Kruse will both be real forces once they become comfortable at this level.

    Iraq v Japan
    0 all HT
    Grand Hamad Stadium, Doha

Iraq are having a go. Very open game going by the HT highlights.
A few pen shouts, fluffed chances from both teams.

They ain't gonna lie down next week regardless of the score here
