"Stagforlife " wont be back, he has retired, matured and living on the peninsular supporting belswans these days.
Then he overthrew WB n Halps, became President and ignored junior football. Guy was a lunatic

You my friend are the lunatic, the COMMITTEE over threw WB, for reasons you or anyone else needs not know about, thats what committees do when there is an issue, and unlike the current one, stuck by what the committee decided, Stagforlife was president WITH WB as Secretary and Halps left on his own free will when WB was let go, committee was more then happy to keep halps, and as far as ignoring junior football, you have absolutely no idea clown !!!!!!

    Maitland 2 beat Awaba 1.
Apparently Maitland were looking comfortable at 2-0 till Awaba scored with 10mins to go and made a tight finish.

    was at thornton today.
they went down to 10 men in the second half due to an absolute shocking challenge, deserved his second yellow card.
the game was marred by some shocking calls made by the referee.
thornton when they had the ball pressed well, there number 7 in the centre and the left back played out of their skins.
thornton were unlucky not to take a draw away after an absolute cracking strike from the substitute that left the keeper with no chance.
belswans, seem to be a very young outfit (sancho can you confirm ?), belswans played out from the back, read the play well and took their chances well when on offer, their second goal to take the win was an absolute belter of a strike and the keeper had no chance.
thought matty caz the number 9, played decent, i didnt catch his number, but the centre mid played very well aswell.

was a rather scrappy game, but was good to get to the football.
    1st 2-1 belswans
    23's 2-1 thornton
    19's 3-1 belswans

    westy 4- cessnock 3
very tight game that went to the the death. Westy got home via a pen in injury time, and hung on with cessnock attacking through to the final whistle. Exciting stuff! football quality was ordinary from both teams, but plenty of passion.

Looking at the points table seldom, if Thornton made 4th they can't play bel swans in semies, not sure what you are referring to in your comment.

To the fools that keep making comments above the football was poor quality (Red Mexican and Sutho) what do u expect at this stage in the year in the 2nd division comp on bumpy pitches. I've been to see a few new fm games of late and all were not the football you see in the premier league but all apart from 1, was very entertaining. I watched Thornton play Toronto a few weeks back and both teams at 1all were trying for the win, both were pushing players forward which left them short at times at the back but it added to the entertainment. When Thornton went to 10 men they were still trying to win the game, the last 15 mins was end to end. I go to the games to see goals and or thou I only seen 2 that day it could of been 4 all as both teams went out to win and continued that through out the game. I wish I went to the Welty cessnock game yesterday . To the ppl who go to watch a team string 10 passes together or keep the ball for 5 minutes at a time, a team full of players having the complete game, great touch great pass good vision etc, stop going as no team has the ability to do that.

Why you so bitter grasshopper. I had a front row seat to watch Adamstown string many many passes together and keep the ball for very long periods of time. During all of this the 'Buds had many shots on goal and scored a total of 11 goals. This would have been the perfect game for you to come along and watch, plenty of goals, players with great touches, great passing game and vison to enable them to keep the ball for long periods of time. They kept ball long enough to allow Singleton only ONE shot. Consider this an open ended invitation to come watch anytime....

Well said "The Manager" ... as all will know I am a buds man and gutted I missed the game yesterday as I have already been informed by many that the result yesterday and the 11 goal margin was not due to how bad Singleton were but how good Adamstown played ...

Not happy with Mrs keep the long balls short that she arranged something on a match day !!!!! And to make it worse I have just been informed that free beers and food were being handed out as well !!!!!!!!!!!
