That was really the only other outcome I could think of.

I know he still has the desire to play in Europe and you cant begrudge him for that, but if he doesn't I would love to see him become a one club man.

With the four going to Oman, now would be the perfect time to bring Kale into the squad and give him 15-20 minutes off the bench just to see how he handles this level.
Instead I bet Ward will come into the squad, taking up what should be a Youth player's (Kale or maybe Cooper) spot and in the end when the four return we will have learnt nothing new!
