vidosic is just a really, really average player. works hard but he's not threatening enough going forward, which is sort of the key issue seeing as how he's playing as a winger.

i'd love for ange to **** leckie off but i can't really think of any alternatives considering the squad we have.

not bringing brillante or wilkshire was a mistake. i'd much rather start with franjic higher instead of vidosic/leckie/halloran and have one of those previously mentioned at rb. halloran has showed genuine promise but the other two just don't look up to standard at all. i'm not a huge franjic fan but he's looked more comfortable and would do a job defensively as well.

also wilkinson starting for australia at a world cup is deadset disgusting. surely our defensive stocks can't be that bad, can they? i know we have a few injuries at the back but come on.

Not sure about the Leckie part but that is one of your better posts, totally agree on the rest (although I'm a HUGE Franjic fan).

After watching Belgium play Argentina in the QF last week was impressed with them.

They were unfortunate to go behind to the opportunist Higuian strike

After that they probably had the better of the game and kept the Argies quiet.

Despite having some good players just lacked the class player to drag them level

It will be a great test and they are a quality team especially if their players get some league form behind them early in the season.
I disagree about the belgium v argies game. Belgium were woeful, absolutely no game plan and even less creativity. If they play like that against us, we have a great shot at knocking them off with the way ange has us playing.
