Players so far signed by Jones:

    Harry Sawyer
    Mario Shabow
    Joel Allwright
    Tomislav Arcaba
    Daniel Alessi
    Kosta Petratos
    Dan Georgievski

How good is "his" squad* looking? **** losing Dimi Petratos is a kick in the guts now hey.

*Yes I'm aware some of those guys aren't on permanent deals.

    Missed Johnny K

I also thought Alessi was signed under Miller

The fact that you are aware of that the in hasn't given Jones significant investment for this season makes your post look weak

But no weaker than your claim that this is a top 6 side as we take part in the Bogan derby for a wooden spoon today

you don't know whether you're coming or going with your arguments these days. here we have some cold, hard facts and you still can't cop it.

the players, the owner, the ceo; it's everyone's fault but jones', according to you.

That's who i would think we will be looking at. I don't love all those players i've chosen but we don't really have a scouting network. Some of the crappier choices come down to wage demands, we definitely have struggled with depth again this year. A couple of nice options of the bench to cover injuries would be nice next year. I'd be happy if we got anyone half decent from Sydney, i.e. anyone other than Cabbage hands.

My thinking on that one was. Kanta, who is on high wages compared to his output, isn't resigned and we give Mahazi a chance, on low wages, to start fresh. He is as good as Kanta off the bench and we will free up space elsewhere. That said, i have only seen a couple of his matches and he wasn't exactly rubbish. Built solid and has a decent engine. Kanta doesn't have any legs left in him.

Except for that Ginger fella from FC...

I'd say that a lot of those aren't upgrades to some of our boys other than mentality.

Yeah, i realise that didn't translate well into text. But yes, mentally our players have gone back into their Stubbins shaped shells. Which isn't great for me cause I still think overall our squad should be able to finish in the top 6. The last half of the season has either exposed massive weaknesses in our players or shown just how poorly run and managed our club is. It's probably all both/3 of them.

I think Kruse would be wayyyyy outside the price range a wooden spoon club could afford.

Although, I guess the Cahill rule still exists.
