If you up the cost of GA another $80 or whatever it is to match the rest of the league, how many people are no longer members?

And you can't just cut staff... you have to pay out their contract. If the management really is inept, what is the cost to get rid of all of them and start fresh? Couple of years each on contract, few hundred thousand to get rid of the shit ones, pushing a million to get rid of the lot?

We aren't exactly an exciting purchase for anyone. Maybe opportunities during the Asian Cup are about the only thing going for us and that's just the region, not the club itself.

Anyway, this is easily solved, they just buy the Jets A-League license, not the company. And then Tinkler makes them redundant from his now non-trading HSG.

Everyone knows the Jets memberships are a bargain. If people jump ship because the prices are raised to similar levels of other teams in the comp, are we really supporters? Are we only in it if we can handicap our team compared to other A-League teams in the one area we have influence ie. how much money we pay directly to the club? Anyway, the Gold and Silver memberships in prime seats are the ones I would expect to jump most in price.

Maybe they won't raise them straight away, maybe it will be in increments over a number of years. But you can't expect a new owner who doesn't own the Knights and so isn't leveraging on year round membership numbers to bring in sponsors (even though it didn't really work) to keep prices so low.
