Going to see The Imitation Game tomorrow night. Hopefully Britishname Complicated is excellent as I've just about enjoyed everything he has been in.

I think the game is a tie in to the movie. But not 100% sure.

Watched Exodus... not bad... some of the 3d effects where good... Cousin the film producer commented about the 3d that there is alot of computer generated effects etc that usually bring down 3d films.. too busy etc....

Typical Ridley Scott film... Worth a watch for that epic type film...

Saw The Imitation Game tonight. Was really good, made better by the fact it had Keira Knightley in it.

We went today. It's a very good movie with great acting and a fabulous story. it trades historical accuracy for entertainment value but who really cares.

One of the best movies I have seen in the past year or so,

Yep, for sure. Like Argo, not exactly historically accurate but fantastic performances and highly entertaining.

Yeah but has Biraz done enough to get his place back in the starting team?
    That's the big issue.

Saw the last Hobbit film today.

Has to be said Jackson really bombed it with this trilogy. Totally lost the heart from the book and made it about wars and Sauron and other stuff, while relegating Bilbo and the companions to bit part characters.

Special effects are great but it lacked the combination of fantasy, heart, action and character development that made the LOTR films so amazing.

    This is all true, Parksey..
But if you go in to this third one just looking for a visually spectacular 3D war (with the first half hour being a dragon annihilating shit) then its not too bad..
As you said, its nothing like the book and I went in to the last movie thinking of it that way..
