Could we be looking at 3-5-2 for next season as Grimario pointed out? Play Boogs in the centre of Mullen and Regan. Lee Ki-Je and Scott Neville as your wing backs. Centre of the park Pepper and Kanta with Cooper. Then who up front?

This signing says to me one of Gallagher, Mullen or Welsh will not be retained. My bet is Gallagher.

To give the circus ringmaster some credit his signings have not been bad at all. Jeronimo Flores Madaschi Celevski Lee Ki Je Mullen etc are decent players

Problem is how he integrates them into the side with his inept coaching.

Montano classic example. Can see we have a very good player here potentially. The way Stubbins plays him and the rest of our side though sees us get the least value from him we could.

Hopefully the Lee Ki Je doesn't get screwed like this and we can get someone in to coach us well

I would let Montano go and sign elsewhere. 3 goals is not a good return and I find him pretty lazy. No service for sure but would like to start a fresh. Stubbins will have all the salary cap he could ever want to spend on foreign players so am hoping that he gets supremely lucky and is able to jag another 4 quality foreign starting players to go with Lee Ki Jee.

I count 6 players signed for next season and beyond (not including Carney or Birraz)

With the possibility of Caravella & Welsh if they were on minimum contracts for squad depth. Cowburn and Cowley are interesting players and hoping they get some game time to prove themselves.

The rest I would let go. Sign another keeper (Maybe Duncan) plus 4 quality foreign players who will play anywhere for the money, because lets face it thats all we can offer. Thats 18 players. Pick up another 4 from other clubs that we can offer longer deals to such as Triantis and Gligor from SFC, or plunder Perth if they get done for salary cap rorting with Mitch Nichols and Cameron Edwards.

I fee like we need a better keeper; a better midfielder to link up with preferably Pepper; A RW for when Hoole leaves; A LW assuming Lundy isn't ready to be a starting XI and a ST for when Montano leaves.

What about any of the young centre backs we have playing in the NYL?

Who but? Am assuming Welsh is better than what is on offer, played and scored on the weekend didn't he? I honestly do not know as I don't watch any NYL nut have been pretty impressed with Pavecevic and Cowburn plus Crowley looks pretty good.

Does anyone actually have any insight on who are the brighter prospects we've got in our youth who could get a run with the main squad and any lads in the local NPL sides in general who'd be worth getting a look into? We got Hoole from Broadmeadow and he's one of the better players we've got so could be worth having a look around

Lundy is a better player than Pavicevic and Crowley HANDS ****ING DOWN. Maybe Stubbins would care to explain the truth WHY he isn't being picked???

Seeing how well Pavicevic and Cowburn have gone there is no reason why any of them couldn't do similar

I can look past his ccm days knowing he was with us at the end of the nsl and not picked up by us at the start of 'new football'.

He was young and can't be blamed for signed ing a pro contract with a club 50km from home when his home team said he was surplus to requirements.
