    Dont think there is any real uncertainty. Pretty sure they just extended Merricks contract by 3 years.

    Both parties saying it will be sorted and then talking about a possible relocation in the future. Not signed off but sounds as though there is going to be no issue with them staying.

    Thing is it's not up to FFA or NZF.
    Blatter is hardly in any position to step on AFC toes with the election coming up, if Wellington qualify for the ACL that will ruffle even more feathers at the AFC. This is far from as simple as you think and has politics written all over it.

    They can't qualify for the champions league, premy. They actually did a few years back, but they're not allowed to because they're an ofc club playing in afc. Same thing if they win the FFA cup, they don't qualify.
