I completely worded what I wanted to say wrong, quality should've been replaced by better football. Near the end of the season we weren't getting thrashed, however you can dispute that stubbins had no part in that and it was more to do with Jones
Thought our defensive structure had improved but like many were saying from David Lowe to Andy Harper, this had a lot to do with the influence of Mark Jones.
People also seem to conveniently forget that before the sackings we also had some decent performances, most notably the last minute loss to Victory.
To put into perspective the last round against Roar's Youth side to avoid the spoon and we put in such an insipid performance that summed up our whole season for me.
Lets not try to blur reality and make out that Stubbins turned the season around after January, we are just giving him recognition when he deserves the opposite.

Ain't over till it's over.....Stubbsy still has fans around the country, especially in coaching circles. He will no doubt get to plead his case to the review panel and I don't know if they will take supporter feelings into account, unless they include it under community engagement.
