BK is there and is the incumbent, yes we do need that second quality keeper to push him and compete. But there are more pressing concerns in our squad to fill right now.
Seriously just sign Ireland and let him and Kennedy go at it for a starting 11 spot, not that hard
That's the thing. I do not want us to recruit someone to compete with BK. I want a 1st choice keeper signed. I do not want BK anywhere near the starting 11 unless there is an injury. Unlike some I think Goalkeeper is on par in terms of importance as a top striker. That is where we need quality, not only to hold out games but to marshall the defence. We will not make the finals if BK is in goals for a majority of games. He is just no where near the required standard.
I am glad you can see the future where the Jets are in the finals with BK in goals. I cannot see it. Opposition teams only need to hit free kicks on target and they are a fair chance of going in.
I am also talking about where this league is now. Not where it was 4-5 years ago.
10 seasons, 100 plus games, seen off the over-rated Birrashitti and a slew of coaches, a Champions medal and won us our last finals victory.
You can't "pretend" to be any good for 10 years and not be found out....![]()
Im agreeing with the camel. BK is a decent back up, but we need to aim higher for our first choice keeper

Brad Jones has just been released by Liverpool. On to it Murphy.
