Shaun Evans is tonight's referee. He's officiated us twice already this season - Rd 1 v Wellington and Rd 6 v Adelaide.

We had 6 bookings in the last match he officiated.

remember like 2 weeks ago when blokes were on here all like "yeah win this and we'll go top" well now it's "win this or we'll be out of the top 6".

    We stink.

Packer could barely read let alone be the brain child of world series cricket.

John Cornell was the brains behind WSC not Packer. DKL who was managed by Cornell had the idea and Cornell then got Packer involved to help bank roll it.

With respect to a rebel football competition I cannot think of an Aussie Billionaire that would be open to the idea or indeed any player manager with 10% of Cornells skill - he's probably one of the smartest blokes on the planet.

Oh you didn't even need that much detail there Dunster. The fact people think Packer got involved and spent up out of the goodness of his heart was enough to make me chuckle.

Plus Delvene Delaney wasn't shacking up with no idiot.
He is a very underappreciated bloke.

    Great as per usual

More importantly how come in the Newy Herald today there is something about hunter person of the year and Griff never got a nomination at all????

****ing disgraceful that Newy's favourite son should be ignored like that

Because when I was a wee lad someone mentioned in front of my old man that some chick on TV was hot (can't remember who) but what I do remember was my dad filling with rage and pretty much getting ready to throw hands with the bloke because he somehow didn't have Delvene Delaney #1 on his all time game show hostess list.
After he kicked the bloke out on his ass (then kicked me out of home not long after) I googled Delvene in her prime and god damn it if he wasn't onto something.

Anyway I've never spoken to my dad since but for all his utter shitkhuntness he did have a good eye for the ladies.

Anyway so yeah let's get back to talking about Miller playing a 6-4-0 vs Arnies 6-4-0.

Goddamnit pre match talk is such bullshit.

Pre-match panel pose Miller a question along the lines of "Leonardo looks like the key to unlocking opposition defences. It must be frustrating to have him in one week and out the next?"

Cue me yelling at the tv that if Miller et al didn't run the poor bastard into the ground and actually make proactive substitutions, we might have him week in, week out!!!
