Also your list shows Henrique at Brisbane as Visa player, he is now Aussie. Would be a great signing for anyone who gets him!

Nick Ansell from victory would be a great one too!

We will probably end up with Shannon Cole!

We are more likely to sign Shannon Noll

The thing that baffles me is why the FFA allow the game to be played before 17 k or whatever Wankerland holds??

Why it is not at Stadium Australia trying to get a 40-50 k crowd beats me

    1. FFA don't run WSW home games.
    2. They actually listened to fans when they did own the club and made decisions on long term growth....which were easy at the time because the team was winning.
    3. I think they've announce next season will see at least one derby at homebush.

Ha...here's a thought. As a lifelong cricket fan I know Thunder is a T20 team? I have absolutely no idea what city they are in though I assume Sydney.
I can name every Australian test cricketer of the 70s but cant name all the T20 teams....sign of the times.

T/20s just the new World Series, in another 20 years we'llbe watching T/5s in the name of entertainment as T/20s will be to long and boring.

Year 2040: pack 60,000 into the stadium, 2 teams come out in the middle, toss a coin. Coin toss winner lifts the cup. Crowd goes mental, skulls the last of their low alcohol water and goes home.

    Sport is eternal.

The Wanderers home derby is at Homebush whilst Pirtek gets rebuilt starting next season, they are yet to announce where their other home matches will be played at, one ground mentioned was possibly out at Penrith.

Those options include the Olympic stadium (83,500 capacity), Campbelltown Sportsground (21,000), Pepper Stadium (22,000) and Belmore Sportsground (20,000).

tonight's derby crowd was 19,000. The new Pirtek should be 30-35,000.
