He has an opinion on Reddy's ability.

    That's the difference here.

Covic still had some howlers that season IIRC - my timing was just out.

I would say covic had one good season with us. The year we won the league. He was pretty crappy the season after b4 he left

Not everyone - guys like Griff, Thommo and Tarek looked like they were at least trying.

Others like Covic, North and Grifflet looked like they wanted to get away ASAP.

"Trying" is different to playing good! We were bad... plus wasn't that the year griff ditched us after signing a contract?

From my recollection we couldn't buy a goal in that period. I don't think we hit the lead in any of those seven games.

I distinctly remember the first game of GVE's rein, that it was more of the same with a lot of intent but little end product. Until Jade North, at right back, jagged a goal in the 70th minute and then we got another just before full-time. Never looked back from there. The difference I feel was Nick Theo made a whole stack of promises at the start of the season, as we were one of the favoured teams, and we bottled it. Each game the pressure would rise and Nick seemed to not cope very well. GVE came in and let the players relax a little.

Despite his one season in-between with Parra Power, and what was a star studded team, Nick Theo was never the same after his failed stint in Greece.

The problem at the Jets was that Nick Theo and Paul Okon don't get along. Okon didn't want Nick Theo around so he did everything he could to get rid of him.

So Mitch Austin wants to move away from the Mariners... Thoughts on him signing for the Jets?
He's give us loads of pace on the wing!

Coastie... but would take him, he was very impressive in a very ordinary team last year.

I think he's nailed on for Victory, or so the rumour was recently.
