Farkin yeeeeeeewwwwwwwww.
I just saw Slobs at Coles Waratah. We've both missed the last two games.
We'll be doing our darnedest to attend the next one (Sh!tney).
Keep an eye on the membership numbers too out of interest.

Great win but....
Brisbane were awful. Around the 30 minute mark we dropped off and let them have the ball for a significant period. Other teams will punish us if we do that. We still lack communication at the back.
It was great that we took our chances yesterday and long may it continue. Even Hoole headed a ball!!!
Great to celebrate but not getting carried away. Huge test next weekend
We pressed for the first 30 mins and it looked part of the plan to then "rest" to finish the half with a lead and clean sheet. Phil Dando said on the radio it was likely Nobby would come off at half time as he was looking tired from all the pressing and running, though he hadn't had much of the ball.
We won 4-0, I don't give a tinkers what the other side were like.
This!
Other bonus was the crowd found their voice. There is potential there and it was good to see both stands engaged with the squadron. Finally got the club to agree to have you in the right location, combined with enjoyable football and the atmosphere at the ground shows signs of life!
A good result against WSW will see 12,000 against shitney at the next home game.
We don't currently have the sort of team that will ever play another team off the park a la Melb City. So we have to play to our strengths, and then ease off where we can, and soak up some pressure before going again. The match yesterday seemed to ebb and flow in that manner. At times we were content to let them have the ball, and when they got within 25m, we blunted their attack. I doubt we'll see a Jets game this season where the opposition don't have a decent number of chances to score. But that's football. As a club, and us fans included, we have to get out of that mindset that when we win it's only because the opposition sucked.
You can only beat the opposition you face on the day. Team did that by 4 goals and deservedly so. Jets have a very good midfield with a lot of pace up front and the Roar failed to meet the challenge. Unlike previous years the Jets actually look like a threat and that means teams need to be a little more defensive against them and that takes away their ability to dominate going forward.
Wanderers will be tough because Poppa will have them kicking the shit out of Nabbout and others as they won't have an answer for the new found pace the Jets now have. If the ref does their job I think Wanderers will struggle.
What was the official crowd figure for yesterday?
