Really think hes been placed there to accommodate the good form of Clut. Playing mids of uga brown and clut is probably the best combination we have. Whilst I agree hes probably played his "best" football in the 10 role I think he offers more then Poljak in the holding role. He does an extremely high amount of work that often goes unnoticed back there.

With Kokko and Nobby out injured now, Clut should play as a false 9 and Brown back to 10. If Jones goes with Hoole up top like the first 35 mins against the Mariners then he needs his ugly ****ing head kicked in

Brown has been in CM since the opening rounds, Clut has mostly featured off the bench for most of these games.
Given Poljak has gone ok the last couple games though I would be happy with him coming in alongside Ugar and seeing Brown further up.

The midfield line up in round 1 and 2, when we had a lot of energy, pressing and better ball retention, was Kantarovski, Ugarkovic and Brown.

I think we can move back to this and move Clut out wide to the right, keeping Hoole left. He has the discipline and stamina to fill in until Nabbout comes back.

Ugarkovic is the only player of ours mentioned in the top 30. Watch him disappear quickly!

Some quality players listed there. I would love us to chase DeVere, O'Neill and MacLaren and Retain Ugar from that list

We have 16 off contract and if the club can manage to keep Koutroumbis, Ugar, and Nobby then they will have done very well.

If any of them have any sense they will run a mile from this club.

Ben Halloran is struggling for any game time and is noted in an SBS article to make a move for Socceroos recall

Although i hate his stupid face and probably the rest of him too.

Mitch Nichols would be a good pick up for us. 'shudder'...

    Knows where the goal is.
Is a massive prick to play against.
Can move around the front 4 when everyone else gets injured.
Is hitting his prime, age wise.
Not good enough for the Socceroos so might get drunk enough to sign for us without his agent knowing about it.
    Has a stupid face.

Brown has said several times he loves playing deeper and thats his favoured role so stands to reason he should be playing well in that position but he isnt

first too weeks he was creating chances and having shots at goal. which has completely dropped off from his game and he even started to give away possession with sloppy passes

The old Mark Viduka sydnrome - is useless at club level until it's contract talk time and then he is one of the worlds finest.

Is Brown not going to training confirmed? Surely not?
    OK
