To say Miller had a hard gig is a massive over statement.
The two easiest gigs in the HAL recently are Millertime taking over after Muppet was here and Okon taking over at Gypos from Walmsley.
Basically expectation is low and being semi competitive and getting the occasional win keeps the plebs happy
What Jones has done is take a shit side and go about changing the mentality of the squad. We are now having a go and not playing like cowards like we have for the last 8 years.
We ain't getting the results right now. But we are going to be getting them in the future.
On most days Perth would have beaten us. That being said in future we will have the confidence and the ability to carve them up and beat them.
If you want to compare the two blokes I point something out to you right now.
This year we are a legitimate playoff prospect. Whether we get there or not isn't the issue. We are a legitimate chance as the way we play will see us pick up points as the season progresses.
Last year under Miller we were never a realistic chance of making the playoffs. Sure as shit the club talked about it as they usually do nut noone actually believed them.
This year they have people starting to believe in them.
