Olympic match canned as well.

On another note they canning the Olympic match as Darling St doesn't apparently meet FFA lighting guidelines
What a ****ing joke
It ain't on TV so who gives a **** if they playing shirts and skins at Darling St
FMD
that was exactly what I was thinking. The lighting requirements are for TV, so if FOX aren't showing it, Bar TV aren't allowed to show it, then where is the issue?
Whats that leave us with in Newcastle, about two grounds that we can have trials on unless they are during the day?
It sounds a bit like they've (the FFA) shot from the hip. Some transparancey from the FFA is needed AND the application of these standards must be applied to the other clubs.
It's certainly very restrictive.
The Bar TV issue seems strange too. Must be something in the fine print about broadcasting partners of A-League teams. It's sad because the exposure of the product to 15000 people (using the numbers from the last game) could aid the club in this region.

Signing news...
That Italian Pasta player confirmed for Brisbane
Johan Absolutelynoidea, some Danish winger, signed for Adelaide
Weak Ankles signed for WSW
All businesses can easily afford infrastructure upgrades if they deem wages an optional cost. For some reason it doesn't happen..
That article also mentions Alessi
I was of the belief that he was a right back, but article makes it seem that he plays centre back
Possibly. Are NPL players covered by the PFA (Are they deemed professional?)? If not, perhaps that explains why they can play catch up games at the grounds at night. It's an interesting angle.
It's highly unlike the FFA to not be transparent on a subject like this. <SARCASM>

some absolutely shocking takes from the double eff ay as usual.
how could something like the bar tv thing possibly be a bad thing for football in the region?
