Hopefully for Nick, Ernie has the same approach/consideration as well, because otherwise he could end up being one of those young players he was referring to that need to move to get game time.

    Performing well??

That well he isn't good enough to nail down a spot at a club as poorly performing as us and people think of him as a bits and pieces utility player

Can the club just throw a shit load of dollars at Troisi rather than roll the dice with unknown shit from South America ? Troisi is a proven performer, he's versatile, and apart from the shit haircut I cannot see any issues at all.

He has to considered a fullback despite what he played in the youth (which I think you're correct in saying he was a midfielder).

You're right, Ernie might have other ideas for him - we will have to wait and see. I agree he was limited as a left back offensively because he kept cutting in.

As for Langlois - not seen any of the pre-seaosn games this year unfortunately but he's getting some time alongside NTS which can't be bad for his development. Hopefully one for the future because it would be good for the Emerging Jets and Youth team to start supplying more to teh first team.
I went to both the Weston and the Magic games, and i was really impressed with Langlios at the back. Very comfortable at the back and under pressure, good ball distribution and cant really remember him making any mistakes. I think he's definately one we should hang on to

Not trying to put shit on the kid

But I want to be seeing him against some better opposition than some midweek pre season matches played at a shit tempo against NPL sides from Newy who onlyget the ball when the Jets cough it up

It ain't like he was put under any great pressure in theae games

FFS I could have played alongside Topor and impressed in these games

He's currently playing against some of the best youth players on the planet - some of whom may be household names all over the world in the next few years.

I understand what your saying. But he's only young and was pretty bloody good in both games. Just saying that i think he has definate potential... and maybe we should hang onto him... thats just my opinion of course. If you get a chance, go and have a look at him for yourself and let me know what your thoughts are.

I think he flew over with the youth team so didnt play against the gypos but i agree and would like to see him tested against better opposition

Has anyone seen much of Adelson? Sounds like Ernie thinks he goes alright

Anyone know anything on this South American player and when he'll be announced? Saw sometime last week that it should be announced soon and all has been quiet since

Guess we aren't taking the FFA Cup too seriously this year.
