I dropped in yesterday morning to see the 1st day of training.
Saw Bert, Clakka and the chinese dude.
Todd and the dog were there as usual. Not much else happening apart from a bit of keeper training.
Medicals only, I think? Stuff coulda happened after I left.

Yes, it's an article from the Herald on Joey going to LA, but I took this interesting tid-bit from it
I have him entering the last year of his contract this season. Good news if we've quietly re-signed or extended him.Champness, who is contracted to the Jets for another two years, spent time during the off-season in LA.

I wonder how many we'll use up, maybe leave a couple free for January if new/added investment is forthcoming

Objectively, is he any good?
Nick Fitzgerald
FMD
Suppose the only saving grace is it means Raheem is less likely to get a run here
Fitzgerald LOL. Bloke must have to remind himself each morning just what town he is in so he knows which clubs he plays for and still to prove himself HAL standard.

Agree. He did have a couple of decent seasons at City. I'm sure he started for a year & was leading the Johnny Warren for a while I think (may be wrong) or was at least looking a lot better then most thought he was? Not a world beater but given our budget, decent pick up.
I really like the signing of Millar. Our best acquisition imo despite his previous destination. Haven't been on here for long so not sure if he's been discussed.
Who knows with Arroyo though. On paper doesn't look like a bad pick up, but I say that every year about the South American conveyer belt. Or is it central American? Egh tomato, tomarto.
