Times like these make me really really appreciate being a part of the GVE 1.0 era, before our club became a revolving door of shitness paid for in mangoes and light fittings

Ok, so why would he want to turn us into a competitive team? The league is dying and club values are dropping. If he turns us into ACL winners we'd still be worthless to sell.
So any half decent business man wouldn't waste any more money on us. We can't be relegated. Finishing last has the same affect as finishing first.
Until the league starts to have an up turn there's zero chance we will be spending more than the absolute minimum.
Just don't forget that McKinna is still at fault for everyones problems. He sold Mr Lee a lie which caused us to be in limbo again so soon. He played the club like fools by giving all his Gypo mates jobs at the club, and then he signed absolute trash for years and expect us to keep showing up each week. Mr Lee didn't sign our players, McKinna did.
On a positive note we will play Gypos in FFA cup play off .... hopefully away

Hard to comment too much on the game as I didn't see it.
Stats suggest the following
Jets had 56% of the ball, good percentage for an away team that got pumped.
Both teams had 12 shots, although Perth had 8 on target compared to Jets 5.
Looks like Merrick played probably his most defensive team under his watch as Jets gaffer. I guess Perth would have really pushed on knowing that the Jets didn't have enough to sting them at the other end. Merrick is a good coach, although he is really going to be tested as a manager to see if he can turn this around.
Surprised Burns didn't start, I'm sure Hearts wouldn't be too happy that they loaned him out, only to see him constantly warm the bench. He isn't going to improve if he doesn't play.
hear me out.
Get Bobby out there in the 45 degree heat.
he melts (as accused by the gypo).
he turns into a puddle.
gets M.O.M v Brisbane like all those before him.
legit, just get me to run the team this gypo cant see the awesomeness for the tree.

I would like to point out that during the City game when the players were warming up, every player had their jersey on with a bib over the top. Bobby had a completely different shirt on under his bib, it stood out as a point of difference. I interpreted this as he wanted to keep his jersey as fresh as he could because of how he struggles with the heat.
Lawrie on that same pod said he finds it funny how fans put 2 and 2 together to get 5 but we also seemingly get in trouble when we go off the words he gives us.
J-pool are you able to give us the stats on how many minutes Burns has played in arvo games vs night games for us? I'd be interested to see if the stats lie for this case also.
OK
Had a listen for 10-15 minutes last night, fast forwarded it a few times. Was the Burns' comment towards the start, middle or end?
I don't mind Lawrie as a CEO , but if you wanna be a CEO , probably talk like a CEO. He used sh#t once and piss off on a recorded broadcast. You can't be doing this, I'd say Lawrie might be a bit nervous if a new owner was found.
I can't imagine one of the AFL or NRL CEO's talking like this.
