Wilso you didn't even know which guy made the tackle, and I know for a fact he did not point to the spot. He blew the whistle and did nothing! Me and everyone didn't know why he blew at first. The Lino (who referred v Simba ressies- not a ring in) had the best view at it called it correctly. It was a text book covering tackle! Didn't even look like your guys were going to even appeal, until you were pretty much yelling for the foul on your way down to the ground.
For everyone's information, I believe there is 17 rules now and I believe the only thing that you would find mentioning a tackle from behind being serious foul play is a lunge. Doesn't matter weather it is from front, side or behind a lunge( one or two footed) is serious foul play and game should be brought to a stop with no advantages played.
The weekends tackle was not a lunge or had any dangerous intent. A very clean and simple defensive tackle
I know exactly who made the tackle. I didn't shake anyone's hand I tapped AJ on the head cause he was giving me shit for going down. Sorry but when your 1-0 about to shoot then u get your legs taken out from underneath u I'd be pretty concerned if you weren't appealing. And u know for a fact he didn't blow a pen? Explain to me why he pointed to the spot with a horizontal arm. I know the tackle had no serious intent I want to hope no one makes a tackle with serious intent but contact in the box is contact in the box and should be dealt with accordingly. Also you are not allowed to "lunge" from behind whether you get ball or not. Anyways back to my original complaint which wasn't actually the pen it was the fact that then if the tackle was deemed as "fair" then why does the ball then go out and get called a corner?

And if that's the best ref you guys have had before then I'd be extremely extremely concerned
