Beware of any consultant/coach etc who can't tell what your ROI is....they just hit you with spiel to take as much money as they can off you before going to the next sucker.
I'm in this space and I always tell my clients up front what I recommend, what it costs and what the return should be.

Gone downhill since Ray Dinneen retired. Firstly, it goes 60 minutes and they struggle to find quality content to fill so often will put in Youtube vids (they put on the Italian nun on the Voice a couple of nights ago - two weeks after Santo did).
Second, their story priority makes them come across as just a lead-in to ACA. We have war in the Ukraine, kidnappings in Nigeria and a horror budget coming up - the lead story last night for 5 mins was some RL boofhead getting into trouble again.
Tash and Paul are personable but dull and get the job done.
Gav comes on as the "expert" on weather but is pre-occupied with surf - we could be getting smashed by a cyclone....old Gav will mention that the gardens are getting a drink, "but the surf temperature is 21 degrees and the swell is huge, meaning great conditions for surfing, check these pictures from Newcastle Beach". I want weather you numbnut !
And finally we get to Rabs and the sports team - sport my arse, unless your sport is rugby league, cricket, tennis, swimming, motor sport and surfing in that order. If you are another football code you get 15 seconds if you are lucky.
Last night - after the lead story on the news we had another 7 mins of RL in the 10 min sport break, mainly talking to some no neck about his mate who got into trouble (who the **** is Danny Weidler btw? Most annoying journalist I have ever seen). After that we had some Knights news and scores from Group 69 or whatever it is.
Although we did get some word from Griff and his signing, there was no news on the FFA Cup launch and the EPL finale, possibly the biggest sports event in the world that day got 15 seconds of coverage.
And we are about to head into State of Origin season when the World Cup is on - give me strength !
I used to listen to The Rush Hour podcast from Triple M. It was branded as a sports show but all they talk about is Rugby Leage. Ray Warren is hands down the most ignorant sports commentator around. He was criticising the Del Piero signing when it was happening, saying "isn't he a Waterhous horse?". Bloke comes across as ignorant because I figure he is SCARED of football. The sport is worldwide and by far the most popular across the globe. I will give them credit, Bozza did go on there from time to time and could hold a conversations with them about ANY sport including Rugby League. he didn't belittle himself or hold himself above the other sports as someone like Warren does. Yes I agree re:NBN news too.
Haven't watched NBN, 7 or 10 for years. ABC for the News, SBS for Friday Night A-League the Internet for everything else, praise illegal downloads and live streams.
Mate this has been happening for years. News is no longer news but entertainment and the target audience for these corporations are what I would call, socially ignorant, cultural philistines, uneducated and with a world view that doesn't extend that far beyond their own backyard. Totally agree - I have enough DVDs to watch something different every night for years. I no longer watch FTA and prefer news on Fox and ABC. Plenty on the net now too.
