And he is a really good solid aleague centre back. He isn't the standout but playing him and kew would bring a lot of experience. I would be happy with him for sure!

I think a central defender with the ability to step into centre mid when required is a massive bonus. Especially when you only have small squads and benches. McKain would be a great replacement for Mitchell and Chapman.
Do we have any other central defenders in the youth league that can step up as 4th choice??

Yep, Archie was recently re-signed for 1 year at a reduced wage. He was used relatively sparingly last season, and I expect this season they will phase him out completely.
The interesting thing about signing Milligan to marquee wages is it's almost certain another loan-type deal for Troisi won't happen.
