To be fair to Mitch, anyone of us who went to school with a girl who wore silver tights and black leather string leotard to school would remember her too.

All photos were taken from another castle.
Panoramic from Burg Gleichen (castle that gives it's name to the area because it was ruled by robber barons who had the audacity to fight the Holy Roman Emporer and were also ****s to be honest.

Amigos Aarau
Looking to get into some night photography/Astro photography.
Anybody here dabbled in this?
What are the necessities equipment wise?
Tripod. - the sturdier the better.
Remote shutter release
Bulb Setting
A Fast Lens Helps - but can still get it done with a f4.
The lower the ISO the better - you want to keep the image clean.
The darker the night the better - which means get out of the city and into the country / rural areas.
Something simple like Star Trails is a good place to start.

Once you go full frame you will never go back. I was given a Sony Rx1r with a zeiss lens to test for Sony a few years back and it was incredible how noise free the images were. It was better than an m series Leica.
