Galloway Pepper Virgili Kanta BK haven't exactly been pulling their weight in recent years
All but one are good sqaud players, at some point we need decent squad guys to help us afford the starting 11

Yeah big one for Kanta, i have confidence in him.
BK is a decent back up keeper and he is local. I cant really think of any other teams having much better 2nd keeper.
Virgilli and Pepper i think their time will be up when their next contract is unless they pull something amazing out of no where.

We need to actually pull our finger out and purge some of these makeweights taking up valuable space in the salary cap that could be better spent on blokes who
1 Have the desire to front up to an F3derby and kick the shit out of the Gypos on the scoreboard
2 Have the ability to finish higher than 7th in a ten team comp

I wouldn't say kanta was killing it
He stood out as unlike Beard Zads etc he was actually capable of holding his position on the park. The bloke needs to start chipping in with some goals and a lot more in attack
Kanta and BK are still worth a good bit. If he works a bit more attacking he could definitely do good for us, and BK is a solid second goalkeeper. I also think that Virgili has shown flashes of looking like a solid player up front, just very inconsistent to me
Also, has anyone else looked at Virgili's wikipedia lately? This little part got a laugh out of me:

Agreed. Thought he was one of if not our best performers. GVE actually had something semi-decent going when Kanta was there - back 4 in defence, and in attack Kanta would drop in to become the CB of a back three. It was when Kanta was out that allowing our wide backs to bomb forward didn't work out anymore.
