i reckon part of the issue is that so many people ride in canberra, and they do seem to hate bike riders!

The problem is political correctness and living in a nanny state.

When we were kids of maybe 10 years old we'd walk down to the local newsagent carrying our BSA Meteors, walk up to the counter and ask for a tin of Winchester .22 slugs. We'd then fix the problem.

Today you have too many soft khunts making up ridiculous excuses for the birds which don't seem to apply to other animals or humans.

If a pit-bull looks at someone wrong everyone wants to get them put down. If someone walks within 400m of my house I am not allowed to run up and headbutt or punch them because I think they are a threat to my family. But a magpie can go Martin Bryant every breeding season and people make excuses to condone its behaviour.

Shoot the ****ers. Problem solved.
